Non-RN healthcare providers may attend the lectures and the psychomotor skill stations but are not eligible to test or receive verification.Registered Nurses are the only healthcare providers eligible for verification.Contact hours will also be awarded based on hours attended regardless of the evaluation outcome.Verification remains current for four years.Verification will be issued from ENA upon successful completion of the course.The ultimate goal of the course is to improve the care of the pediatric patient by increasing the knowledge, skill and confidence of the emergency nurse. Additionally, the course teaches all aspects of pediatric emergency nursing, including, but not limited to pediatric trauma and resuscitation.

The ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) is a 15.58 contact hour course that teaches participants to recognize the ill or injured child and identify significant, yet subtle changes in the less acute child.
